Our Story

Hi! We’re Mitchell and Courtney, college sweethearts and parents to four wild and wonderful kids (ages 4 to 9), better known as The Westies.

We’re two imperfect parents trying to raise little disciples of Jesus in a loud, crazy world. If you’re here, you’re probably trying to do the same.

Somewhere along the way, we learned something that changed how we see all of it: we get about 936 weeks with our kids before they leave home. That’s it.

That number sent us back to a theme we kept running into in Scripture: stewardship. Through God’s Word, godly mentors, and a parenting community that cheered us on, we started to see that stewardship isn’t just about money. It’s about our time, our conversations, our calendars, our marriage, our kids’ hearts, and our own hearts too. Everything we’ve been given is God’s, and every part of it matters.

We didn’t want to keep that to ourselves. That’s how Everyday Stewards was born: a place to share what we’re learning, help families manage what matters most for God’s glory, and find faithfulness in ordinary moments.

We’re so glad you’re here. Laugh with us, learn with us, and join us as we try to live and parent on purpose. Not perfectly, but faithfully.
